With no extra cost, access your Superior account at more than 5,000 participating branch locations. Shared branching allows you to complete many routine transactions at participating credit unions when a Superior location is not nearby.

What You’ll Need Before You Visit

  • Complete IDCheck online before your visit by scanning the QR code or click HERE
  • Bring a valid photo ID such as a driver’s license or state ID.
  • Bring your full account number.
  • Know the share or account you need to access.
  • Have Superior Credit Union’s name available when visiting the participating branch.

Helpful to Know

Some account types may allow balance viewing but not full transaction access through shared branching.

CDs, IRAs, and signature line of credit activity may have restrictions, although signature line payments may still be allowed.
Better Choice Payday loans must be completed at a Superior CU location and cannot be completed through shared branching.

There is no charge to use this service.

Do I need to complete IDCheck first?

Yes. The IDCheck process must be completed before going to a shared branching location.

Can I do all transactions through shared branching?

Many routine transactions are available, but some account types or specialized activity may still require direct assistance from Superior.

Can I complete a Better Choice Payday loan through shared branching?

No. Better Choice Payday loans must be completed at a Superior CU location.

Which checks are typically available immediately?

Immediate checks with no hold generally include US Treasury checks, US Postal money orders, state or local government checks, and payroll checks that are computer generated. Payroll checks must have a corresponding paystub to receive immediate credit.

Which checks are generally subject to a 3 day hold?

Local checks that may be subject to a 3 day hold generally include cashier checks, official checks, teller checks, personal checks, money orders, and traveler’s checks. All checks deposited through a shared branching outlet are subject to hold policies based on check type.
