Opening a new account starts with verifying your identity and confirming eligibility for membership. Review the current requirements below before you begin.

Important Information About Opening a New Account

To help the government fight the funding of terrorism & money laundering activities, federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, & record information that identifies each person who opens an account.

When you open a new account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We also may ask to see your driver’s license or other identifying documents.

What You Need to Qualify

Membership Eligibility

Membership must have at least one of the following met for Montgomery County, Pennsylvania:

  • Live
  • Work
  • Worship
  • Attend school

Proof of Identity

Please be prepared to provide the following identification information:

  • Driver’s License, Passport, Military ID, or State ID
  • U.S. Social Security number
  • U.S. Citizenship or Resident alien status

Before You Apply

All documents provided must be original, unaltered, and unexpired. Providing the requested documents will not guarantee an applicant to be approved for membership. Superior Credit Union reserves the right to further request supporting documents to verify the information provided.
