Overdraft Services Consent

Use your debit card even if the transaction would take your account negative up to a set dollar amount. A fee may apply when this service is used.

  • Reduce the chance of a declined debit card transaction, a fee may apply (see fee schedule)
  • Helps cover everyday purchases when timing is tight
  • Debit Card Overdraft Consent is optional. ACH and Share Draft transactions are automatically enrolleed (fees apply) unless you opt out of all overdraft services.
Requires: membership, accounts in good standing (including loans), age 18+, and a checking account open for 60 days.

Overdraft Protection

Overdraft Protection helps avoid non-sufficient funds (NSF) charges by transferring funds automatically from a designated SCU account when needed.

  • Transfers can come from SCU accounts you own or co-own
  • Savings transfers are limited to six (6) per month (Reg D)
  • If no funds are available, an NSF fee may apply (see fee schedule)
